This is a pattern for The Crusader Helm

It is in PDF format and should be printed with 8 1/2 X 11 printer paper at 100% size.

Instructions are included with the pattern files, but you will require the following...
Approximately five or six square feet of veg tanned 10-12oz leather
Stitching needles & thread
Finishing and edging tools, dye, paints, etc
Stitching chisels or hole punch in multiple sizes
Swivel knife and bevellers if tooling is desired
Slicker for wet-molding
Box knife or round knife for cutting
Power drill or similar tool

The pattern dimensions are set up to work with 10-12oz leather. Thicker or thinner leather may require a minor adjustment to the pattern and it will fit a head size up to 24 inches in circumference. To go larger...print it out at greater than 100%

This is not a beginner pattern and involves wetmolding, hand stitching, and some degree of problem solving depending on the leather you use.
